Service pack 2 (Policy Patrol 3.5)

Service pack 2 includes the following new features:

• Support for SURBL Lists
• Performance counters
• Tracking numbers in subject and/or body
• Exclude email list
• Performance improvements

Service pack 2 requirements

Policy Patrol version 3.0.5 (sp1) or higher must be installed. To find out which version you have installed, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Select Policy Patrol and click on the 'Support information' link.

How to apply service pack 2

Download service pack 2 and run it on the Policy Patrol machine. Remember that the service pack must be run on each Policy Patrol installation, including remote administrations.

Customers with cluster installations: Please contact technical support to request instructions on how to apply the service pack.

Customers with 3.0.4 and earlier : Before applying service pack 2, you must apply service pack 1. See below for service pack 1 instructions.

Service pack 1 (Policy Patrol 3.0.5)

Service pack 1 includes the following features:

• Reporting (only available for PPE)
• Spam blocker archiving (only available for PPE)
• Spam blocker functionality for DMZs (PPE & PPS)
• Recipient verification (PPE & PPS)

Service pack 1 requirements

Policy Patrol version 3.0.2, 3.0.3 or 3.0.4 must be installed. If you have version 3.0.5 installed, there is no need to install service pack 1. To find out which version you have installed, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Select Policy Patrol and click on the 'Support information' link.

Download service pack 1 and run it on the Policy Patrol machine. Remember that the service pack must be run on each Policy Patrol installation, including remote administrations.

Customers with 3.01 and earlier : First uninstall the current Policy Patrol version. When it asks whether you wish to remove your existing configuration, select 'No'. Now download and install Policy Patrol 3.5.
